Join us in the field!

Seven Moon Farm is a small scale, MOFGA certified organic diversified vegetable, flower, and herb farm in beautiful Waldo County, Maine. Aside from following certified Organic standards, we focus on reducing our tillage, increasing our biodiversity, and using crop rotations and cover cropping schedules to support our soil health and improve our climate resiliency. We try hard to cultivate a safe and comfortable environment for people of color, the LGBTQ community, and members of other marginalized communities, and expect our employees to do the same.

ALL 2025 POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED !

In 2025 we are excited to be farming on a new piece of land in Freedom! We are currently planning for 2.5 acres of production, which includes our 4 unheated high tunnels. We utilize both tractor and human-powered practices to prep, plant, cultivate, harvest, and put to bed our fields. We sell the majority of our produce within 20 miles of the farm; at the Downtown Waterville Farmer’s Market, in our CSA, and to Daybreak Grower’s Alliance/ Peak Season. We couldn’t do any of it without our invaluable farm crew! As farm owners we may have the vision, but we know it’s the crew that really brings the farm to life.

Seven Moon Farm’s crew is made up of hard working, team oriented folks who love being outside and are passionate (or at least excited!) about growing great tasting, Organic produce for their community. Our crew members work together through the changing seasons to get the job done in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. We highly value self-motivated crew members, and provide in-depth training on our farm systems to empower our crew members to work confidently in all areas of the farm. Crew members are encouraged to express specific areas of interest that develop throughout the season! If you’re thinking about trying your hand at organic veggie farming, or you want to hone your skills in the field, we hope you’ll consider joining us. To apply: please thoroughly read the job descriptions below and send us an email containing your resume and two references, plus a note telling us why you feel you’re a good fit for Seven Moon Farm.
